FILIPE allows non-French speaking international students to: * improve their oral comprehension of scientific French * discover the peculiarities of the French way of teaching * enhance their awareness of intercultural issues

provides students of English as a second language with college-level texts they can listen to and read at the same time. This double input responds to the differences in students' needs and learning styles as they strive to achieve competency in English. By listening and reading at the same time, students may not only improve their comprehension, but also their pronunciation. Moreover, at the click of the mouse, the students have access to a glossary for words they might not know (words in red).
